Do You Qualify? – Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Located in a grant-qualified county (Comal, Hays, Travis, Bastrop, Williamson, Burnet, Mason, Llano, and approximately 39 counties total)
1 or more acres of heavy fuel load brush, cedars, or heavy undergrowth
Must use an independent contractor such as The Mulching Marine after pre-qualification
No previous grant used within the last 3 years
Property must be inside or adjacent to a Wildland Urban Interface / Wildfire Risk area
